DESCRIPTION
After Life was a game me and a group of three others designed in the first year of University. We were tasked with making a puzzle platformer. In the end, we came up with After Life, a game about King Tutankhamun who has been resurrected in the far future where he is going through different levels of the pyramid collecting his organs which have been placed in canopic jars in order to become alive again. There are traps and enemies King Tut must get past. This project was made in the Unreal game engine.
In this project I designed three levels. The first level you are outside the pyramid and the player must get past these moving blocks that will crush the player. In the second level the player is introduced to pickups like super speed and super jump which they must use to get over falling platforms and jump up to high places. Lastly, on the third level the player must jump over killing spikes and moving objects to reach the door at the end of the mission.
